Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all students enrolled in educational programs offered by Codemify Inc. and is governed by the requirements of the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE) and applicable Florida law.
By enrolling in any Codemify program, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy as part of the Codemify Enrollment Agreement and Official School Catalog.
Right to Cancel — Prior to Course Start Date
Students may cancel their enrollment at any time prior to the official Course start date.
• A 100% refund of tuition paid, less the non-refundable Application Fee, will be issued if written notice of cancellation is received before the Course start date.
• Written notice must be submitted by email to [email protected].
For purposes of this policy, the Course start date is the date on which instructional access, materials, or scheduled instruction begins, as published or communicated by Codemify.
Right to Cancel — 3-Day Cooling-Off Period
Students have the right to cancel their enrollment from the official Course start date.
• A 100% refund, less any non-refundable fees of all tuition paid, will be issued if written notice of cancellation is received within this period.
• Written notice must be submitted by email to [email protected].
Pro-Rated Refund — Days 4 Through 14
If a student withdraws between the fourth (4th) and fourteenth (14th) calendar day from the official Course start date, the student may be eligible for a pro-rated refund based on time enrolled.
Refund Calculation Formula:
Refund = Tuition Paid – (Daily Rate × Days Enrolled)
The daily rate is calculated by dividing the total program tuition by the total number of instructional days.
No Refunds After Day 14
No refunds are issued after the fourteenth (14th) calendar day following enrollment.
This policy applies regardless of:
• Course progress or completion status
• Attendance or participation
• Personal scheduling conflicts
• Employment or career outcomes
Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable under all circumstances, as permitted by Florida law and CIE regulations:
• $150 Application Fee (included in total tuition)
• $5 Student Protection Fund processing fee
These fees are not refundable even during the cancellation or pro-rated refund periods.
Withdrawals & Written Notice Requirement
All withdrawal and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] and must include:
• Student's full legal name
• Program name
• Date of enrollment
• Requested withdrawal date
The withdrawal becomes effective on the date the written notice is received.
Withdrawal does not release the student from unpaid financial obligations accrued prior to the effective withdrawal date.
Special Circumstances
If a student is required to withdraw within the first thirty (30) days due to:
• A documented medical emergency or serious health condition; or
• The death of an immediate family member (parent, sibling, or child),
Codemify will issue a refund of the unused portion of tuition paid, less any non-refundable fees, in accordance with Florida law. Supporting documentation may be required.
Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are processed within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the written withdrawal request and any required documentation.
Refunds are issued using the original method of payment, unless otherwise required by law.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Students are encouraged to contact Codemify directly to resolve billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Initiating a chargeback does not waive Codemify’s rights under the Enrollment Agreement, including arbitration provisions.
